Technical SEO, local search and content for businesses across the Tricity and India. Three to six months, no guaranteed rankings, and no bought links — because the alternative costs you the domain.
Local SEO in Chandigarh costs ₹15,000 to ₹30,000 a month and shows results in six to twelve weeks. Competing across the Tricity or nationally is ₹30,000 to ₹60,000 and takes three to six months. The Tricity is genuinely less competitive than Delhi or Mumbai, which is why local results here come faster than most guides suggest.
Everything below is checkable rather than claimed. Prices are published, the person doing the work is named, and the comparison section says plainly where we are the wrong choice.
Most SEO agency pages are anonymous. Here is who runs the technical side, and how long he has been doing it.
Founder, Apensia Media · Chandigarh
Kuldeep started in IT in 1995 — three years before Google existed. He has watched search go from keyword density and meta tags, through the link-buying years, to a system that mostly rewards being genuinely useful.
Why the link-buying years matter. Anyone who worked through Penguin in 2012 watched businesses lose their entire search traffic overnight for links they had been sold as a service. That is not a theoretical risk to us, and it is the reason we will not sell them at any price.
Most agencies describe SEO in language designed to be hard to check. In practice it is these, in roughly this order.
Where the fastest wins live. Indexing, crawl errors, pages Google cannot see, redirect chains, and the things nobody finds until they are looked for.
Measured on a mid-range Android on 4G, not a laptop on office wifi. The fastest-moving lever most sites have, and the least often pulled.
For the Tricity this matters more than everything else combined. Google Business Profile, reviews, and details that match across every listing.
Pages that answer what customers actually type. Not “SEO articles” — useful pages that happen to be findable.
Earned mentions and disclosed placements. The slowest part, and the only one with no safe shortcut.
Enquiries and cost per enquiry, alongside rankings. If the numbers are not moving we say so and explain why.
On the fifth one, plainly. Buying links is still the fastest way to move rankings and still the fastest way to lose them. The penalty lands on your domain rather than the agency’s, and recovery takes six to twelve months. Why the cheap end is dangerous, in full.
Judging every part on one blanket period is how good work gets cancelled at month two. These move at different speeds.
| Work | First signal | What to watch |
|---|---|---|
| Technical fixes | 2–6 weeks | Pages indexed, speed scores, crawl errors falling |
| Local / map pack | 6–12 weeks | Map position and calls from the Business Profile |
| Commercial terms | 3–6 months | Impressions in Search Console — they rise before positions do |
| Content | 3–6 months per page | Whether individual pages bring enquiries |
| National terms | 6 months upward | Earned links and content depth against much bigger sites |
The most useful thing on this page. Impressions climb before position does. If impressions for your main terms are rising at month three while rankings look unchanged, the work is landing and you are about to see it. It is free to check, in an account you already own, and it is the number to look at when nothing else seems to be happening.
Each one competes on different terms. A clinic near PGI and a manufacturer in the Industrial Area need almost nothing in common.
Clinics and specialists around PGI, Sector 34 and Panchkula. Map pack position decides most of it, and reviews decide the map pack.
IT Park and Mohali IT City. National and international terms rather than local ones, which is a slower and more expensive fight.
Institutes across Sectors 11, 15 and 34. Admission season is three months long and everything has to be ranking before it starts.
Sector 17, Sector 22 and Elante brands. Product pages that rank individually are worth more than the homepage ever will be.
Hotels and restaurants across the Tricity. Direct bookings rather than paying an aggregator a commission on every room.
Mohali, Zirakpur and New Chandigarh. Project-level pages beat a single listings page every time, and almost nobody builds them.
Industrial Area Phase 1 and 2, and Mohali’s industrial belt. Buyers search product specifications, not company names.
Advocates, chartered accountants and consultants across Sectors 8, 9 and 17. A YMYL category, so credentials and authorship matter more than usual.
One of the most competitive local categories in Chandigarh and Mohali, and one where Google is unusually strict about trust signals.
Why this list names streets and sectors. Google understands Sector 17, IT Park, PGI, Elante and Industrial Area as real places connected to Chandigarh. A page naming them is genuinely more locally relevant than one repeating “SEO company in Chandigarh” fifty times — and it is more useful to read, which is the same thing from the other direction.
Three ways to buy SEO in Chandigarh. One of them is better than us in some situations.
| ₹5–8k package | In-house | Us | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly cost | ₹5,000 – ₹8,000 | ₹30,000+ salary | ₹15,000 – ₹60,000 |
| Hours you get | 3–4, mostly automated | Full time | 10–40, itemised |
| Link approach | Usually PBNs | Depends who you hire | Earned and disclosed |
| Risk to your domain | Real | Low | None we create |
| Better than us when | Never, honestly | You have constant work and someone to manage it | You want it done without hiring |
In-house is a genuine option and we will say so. If you have enough work to keep somebody busy and a person who can manage them, hiring beats an agency on cost over two years. Where it fails is when that person leaves and nobody knows what they were doing. Agencies exist for the businesses in between, not for everybody.
Ask any agency how many hours your fee represents and what they are spent on. A real proposal answers that in a sentence.
You have a developer, you need direction
One-off, about a week

Competing beyond one location
Roughly 25–40 hours a month
The full breakdown — where a ₹30,000 retainer goes in hours, and why the cheap end is dangerous — is in our SEO cost guide.
Local and national SEO are genuinely different jobs. Knowing which you need saves months and usually money.
Our own city. Sector 17 and 22 retail, Sector 34 and 35 clinics, IT Park software, Industrial Area manufacturing.
IT City and Sector 67, plus the industrial belt and the newer sectors along the airport road.
Industrial Area and MDC. Manufacturers and wholesalers who need to be found rather than admired.
Competitive and underserved by agencies who treat them as an afterthought to Chandigarh. They are their own market.
Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai and smaller cities. Around 200 city pages, each written for its own market.
Local is cheaper, faster and skipped constantly. Most businesses that ask for national need local first, and we will say so.
Our India-wide SEO page is at apensia.in/india/seo, and there is a page for every city we cover.
Four things you can confirm before paying us anything — checks, not claims.
01
Not just a number — what the number buys. Ask any competitor how many hours your fee represents and see how long the answer takes.
02
Your account, your data, throughout. If an agency will not give you access to your own Search Console, that is the finding.
03
Nobody can promise a position. An agency that does is either guessing or buying links, and both end the same way.
04
About half the sites we look at have a website or conversion problem rather than a visibility one. Fixing that first is cheaper and we will say so.

These are five of more than 500 keywords we’ve taken to Google’s first page for clients and for our own sites — not a cherry-picked pair, a running total. Ask us for more from your own industry.
Used with permission. Ask and we will put you in touch with any of them.
“Forty-one of our pages were not indexed and nobody had noticed in two years. That was found in the first week, and the traffic change afterwards was the largest single jump we have had.”
“The map pack position moved within about two months, which they had said was realistic. What I appreciated was being told the national terms would take much longer rather than being sold both.”
“A previous agency had built us links we did not ask about. Kuldeep found them, explained the risk plainly, and the first three months were undoing that rather than new work. Not what I wanted to hear and exactly what I needed.”
You will get a real read on what is holding the site back within one working day — and an honest answer about whether SEO is even your bottleneck. About half the time it is not.
If you run a business in the Tricity — Chandigarh, Mohali, or Panchkula — showing up on Google's first page isn't optional anymore. That's why more local brands work with a proper SEO company in Chandigarh instead of guessing their way through digital marketing. A genuine SEO agency in Chandigarh starts with a full audit, then builds content and links around how customers actually search.
Full site audits that fix the crawl, speed, and structure issues search engines actually weigh before a page can rank.
Google Business Profile optimization and Tricity-specific targeting so nearby customers find you on Maps, not a competitor.
Keyword research and content built around real search intent, backed by link building for sustainable, ROI-driven growth.

Talk to our SEO expertsSEO compounds, but only once there’s a website worth ranking. This guide covers what website, SEO, ads and social each cost in India, and the order to fund them in. Including the four things we tell people that cost us money to say.
No signup, nothing gated. It is just a page.
Local SEO for a single-location business runs ₹15,000 to ₹30,000 a month. Competing across the Tricity or nationally is ₹30,000 to ₹60,000. A one-off technical audit is ₹15,000. Below ₹10,000 a month there are not enough hours in the budget to do real work, which is why those packages are usually automated link building.
Technical fixes can move rankings within weeks. Local and map pack results often show in six to twelve weeks because the Tricity is less competitive than Delhi or Mumbai. Competitive commercial terms take three to six months on a site without existing authority. Anyone quoting first page in 30 days is either guessing or buying links.
No, and neither can anyone else. Google does not sell positions and does not disclose enough about ranking to promise an outcome. What we can promise is a site that loads fast, is structured properly, and gives search engines no reason to overlook it, plus honest reporting on what moved and what did not.
Technical SEO is everything that decides whether search engines can crawl, read and rank a site at all: speed, indexing, site structure, schema markup and mobile performance. It comes first because content and links cannot compensate for a site Google struggles to read, and because it produces the fastest visible movement.
No. Private blog networks and bulk followed links are named directly in Google link spam policy, the penalty lands on your domain rather than ours, and recovery costs more than the campaign ever saved. We earn links through digital PR and local citations, and disclose any paid placement with rel=sponsored.
No. Retainers are monthly. Six and twelve month lock-ins are common in this market because SEO takes time to show results, but a monthly arrangement puts the pressure where it belongs, on us to keep earning it.
Local SEO competes within a catchment area and is decided by your Google Business Profile, reviews and consistent details across directories. National SEO competes across India and is decided by content depth and earned links. Local is cheaper, faster and skipped constantly, which is why it is usually where we start even for businesses that came asking for national.
Ask one question: how many enquiries came from search last month, and what did each one cost. An agency doing real work answers within a day. If the reply is a report full of impressions and keyword positions with no enquiry count anywhere in it, the work is not being measured against anything that pays you.
There is no official ranking body handing out that title, so treat anyone claiming it outright with a little skepticism, us included. What you can actually check is whether an agency publishes its prices, names who does the technical work, and gives realistic timelines instead of guarantees. Apensia Media is run by Kuldeep Chandel, in IT since 1995, and we publish our rates, from ₹15,000, and our timelines on this page rather than asking you to take our word for it.
Three things: published pricing you can compare against the ₹5,000 to ₹8,000 packages that usually mean automated link building, a named person doing the technical work rather than an anonymous team, and a straight answer about timelines. Apensia Media is based in Chandigarh with clients across Mohali, Panchkula and Zirakpur, and meets in person when that helps.
In-house genuinely wins if you have enough ongoing work to keep someone busy full time. A ₹5,000 to ₹8,000 monthly package usually buys three or four hours of mostly automated work, often with private blog network links that put your domain at risk. An agency like Apensia Media sits in between: 10 to 40 itemised hours a month of technical, local and content work, with the link-buying risk taken off the table.
Six, in roughly this order: a technical audit to fix crawl and indexing issues, Core Web Vitals and speed work, local SEO and Google Business Profile management, content built around real search demand, digital PR and earned link building, and monthly reporting tied to enquiries rather than just rankings.
Local SEO for a single-location business runs ₹15,000 to ₹30,000 a month, which is the realistic floor for actual work rather than an automated package. Below ₹10,000 there usually are not enough hours in the budget to do more than run software on autopilot. Apensia Media's audit-only option, from ₹15,000 one-off, is a lower-commitment starting point if a full retainer is not right yet.

Yes. Technical SEO, local SEO, content, digital PR and link building, and reporting are all handled in-house rather than farmed out, with one point of contact throughout rather than being passed between departments.
Ask each one the same three questions: what will my fee buy in hours, can I keep access to my own Search Console throughout, and will you tell me if SEO is not actually my problem. About half the sites we review have a website or conversion issue rather than a visibility one, and an agency that never says that is not being straight with you.
Written properly rather than as a way to get you on a call. The answers are on the pages, not behind a form.
